A long history dating to the 1830s, this farm has felt the footprints of cattle, Chickasaw Indians and Civil War soldiers. This house and land once stood at the center of the original 180 acres, now subdivided into the present-day 25 rolling acres.
Today, the farm is home to a pack of retired horses, one donkey and a flock of chickens. Our chickens produce eggs enough for our kitchen and for sale on the local market. Just a short stroll from the house and barn, a newly-installed muscadine vineyard covers land that once held a large vegetable truck garden.
